I use to feel helpless and hopeless about coping with the stress in my life, until I realized that there is so much I can do to combat stress, both mentally, physically and emotionally. We don’t have to suffer in emotional silence, we can take charge, take control and hack stress right down to its roots. Even when we cannot change our circumstances, we can change our attitude and our perspective!

      Thanks for the positive response, Joan. Family stress has always been one of my primary sources of stress, even NOW, dealing with a teenager and taking care of aging parents loads on the stress. Its essential to take care of myself and keep that silent killer in check! 🙂

    @Ashley, I must admit I am STILL working on asking for and accepting help when/where needed. I still don’t do it enough. Even when I am offered help, I often turn it down preferring to go it alone. I don’t mind PAYING for help, but I still feel uncomfortable asking people to freely help me do things. I am STILL working on that. 🙂
